Oklahoma St +7.5 over Nebraska
This is our top college play this weekend. Ok St is 4-1 against the spread vs Nebraska in the last five matchups. The Cowboys return 8 offensive starters including all of their key skill position players from a potent offense, they will match up against the Huskers defense that returns 8 starters. The Huskers only return five offensive starters from an offense that struggled, while the Cowboys only return six defensive starters but have several experienced players to step in.
Tennessee -20 over Fresno St
The Volunteers return eight offensive starter and four defensive starters, while that is somewhat deceiving because they have four players that missed most of last year due to injuries coming back. Fresno will be playing without returning QB Paul Penigar who is injured.
Duke +14.5 over Virginia
Both teams are loaded with returning starters, while Duke has the most in Division I football at 20. Duke may have been a bad team last year, but of their 10 losses, five were by 5 points or less. With all the experience returning this year should be the same.
Northwestern -6 over Kansas
Northwestern returns 17 starters (8 off, 9 def) and Kansas only 13 (6 off, 7 def). Kansas was a terrible team, and should continue to be. Northwestern has a very good offense with the starting QB and RB returning so they can score some points.
